Amelia is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Civil and Systems Engineering (CaSE), the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University. She has expertise in health communication, social epidemiology, and medical anthropology. She is a 2025 graduate of of Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she studied the social impacts of health misinformation and online. Her particular expertise is in vaccine hesitancy, infodemics, and trust in science/technology. Critical Media Ecology is her current fixation.
