About Marietta Squire
Dr. Marietta M. Squire serves with the U.S. Army Health Facility Planning Agency (HFPA), where she supports the planning and modernization of medical facilities across the military health system. She earned her Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Tak Igusa, specializing in systems modeling and healthcare infrastructure design. A commissioned officer in the Army Medical Service Corps, she integrates engineering and health systems analysis to enhance hospital resilience and infection-control planning. Her research and collaborative work have been featured in military and academic publications. In May 2024, she was confirmed by the U.S. Senate for promotion to Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army.
