About Tingting Ji
Tingting Ji is a Fellow-by-Courtesy in the Department of Civil and Systems Engineering at Johns Hopkins University (effective January 1, 2026) and an Associate Professor at Harbin Institute of Technology in China. She previously served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins University from 2023 to 2025 under the supervision of Prof. Takeru Igusa, where she worked on modeling and simulating service delivery redesign interventions for maternal and neonatal health in Kenya, supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Tingting’s long-term research interests focus on applying data-driven and systems science approaches to examine the complexity of health-related human behaviors and interventions, with the aim of informing public health research, policy, and practice.
