Alisa is a PhD student in the Department of Civil and Systems Engineering (CaSE) and Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE). Her research explores methods of capturing demographic and geographic variation in human behavior and health outcomes in infectious disease models. Her projects focus on building open-source adaptable frameworks for agent-based modeling on realistic synthetic populations. She is passionate about increasing the decision-making relevance of scenario modeling by making models that are context-specific, open-source, and user-friendly.
