This project aims to model the number and time of patient discharges a hospital will have on a given day, thereby optimizing patient care and high resource use. This model has proven to be as accurate as doctors and nurses are with its predictions and, on numerous occasions, has outperformed them with its accuracy. The invention of this software comes at a critical time when overcrowding in hospitals has led to shortages in hospital beds, one of the most important resources available to patients. With this advent, physicians will be able to rely on more accurate, up-to-date information, saving time that can be better spent treating patients.
